Medford Leas Residents Association-MLRA

HOME

All residents of Medford Leas are members of the Medford Leas Residents Association (MLRA) which is active in arranging daily activities for residents of Medford Leas, a Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Residents' Craft Show

MLRA committees set up programs in our theater - such as scholarly lectures by guest speakers and residents, concerts by artists from the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Curtis Institute and other sources. There is an art gallery that invites artists from the region and two other galleries that hang the work of resident artists. The committees also organize trips to the concert halls, theaters, and museums of Philadelphia and New York.

Residents organize social activities such as weekly square dancing and game nights and occasional events such as teas, parties, and field days. They provide volunteer assistance for the fitness and aquatics program, in-house mail distribution, floral display, trails and woodlands, and much more. See the Committee Descriptions section of this website for more information about the work done by residents under the auspices of the Medford Leas Residents Association.

This website, mlra.org is developed and maintained by residents. Another website, medfordleas.org is developed and maintained by the Administration of Medford Leas.

The campus is adjacent to the historic village of Medford, New Jersey and minutes away from the fabled New Jersey Pine Barrens. Philadelphia is 20 miles to the west and Atlantic City, Cape May and other seashore points are within easy driving range to the east. Mapquest Link.
